Simple Chicken Curry Recipe for Beginners 

Intro

New to cooking? This 30-minute chicken curry is my go-to recipe when I get back home to Khilgaon after work. My mom taught me this version. No fancy spices, no blender. Just 7 ingredients and one pot. If you can boil water, you can make this. Let's start!

  Ingredients

  -2 Onion chopped

- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste 

- 2 Tomato

- 1 tsp Turmeric + Chili powder

- 3 tbsp Oil

- Salt

*Step by Step*:

1. *Heat oil*: Add oil in pot. Fry onion till soft and golden.

2. *Add paste*: Add ginger-garlic paste. Cook 2 min till raw smell goes.

3. *Spices*: Add turmeric, chili, salt. Cook 1 min.

4. *Chicken*: Add chicken pieces. Fry 5 min on high heat.

5. *Tomato + Water*: Add chopped tomato + 1 cup water. Cover and cook 20 min on low heat.

*Pro Tips*: 

1. Don't add too much water. Chicken releases water too.

2. If you like thick gravy, cook uncovered last 5 min.

3. Eat with rice, roti, or paratha.
